I FINALLY GAVE UP trying to sleep and got up at 4. it's still really really wet, i drove to

a flight to melbourne, then up here to maroochydor. there's an informal dinner here at the Mirage where we're all staying, so there are about 27 authors and illustrators here for the 'Voices on the Coast' literature festival. I'm bushed so i'm conking out now for an hour or two.
