| waiting ... waiting ... well, only a few minutes |
I FAREWELLED alan and meryl this morning, they both slept in while i spent some time watering the garden early. then after a coffee with them i suddenly realised it was 9.15 and gail's flight arrived at 9.40 - a flying trip into the airport to pick her up.
we had a coffee on the river bank
in the sun with alan and meryl before they
headed off to south australia on their
journey around east australia. they'll be on
the road for the next few months.
it was a beautiful still day after days of
horrible dusty windy weather, wild gusts
buffeting the trees and making the river
brown and choppy. i hope it's over
for a while.
