FATHERS DAY

THESE MAGGIES GREETED US in the morning as we sat in the living room having coffee.  i think they could see their reflections in the long windows and they just kept moving and singing, moving and singing from one window pane to the next

blue faced honeyeaters pinching someone's nibbles at
trentham winery on saturday.

sunny and dean brought olives they'd made themselves,
small and truly delicious

we drove over the river and found the lock 10 road that leads to the bank opposite my house, i've been wanting to see it from that new angle. it's funny to have to travel for about half an hour to stand in a spot that looks about a minute away from the house.

Lock 10 from the opposite bank

dean got
up on the
roof and
cleaned the
gutters -
what a star!

i've actually got a blossom tree,  a little nectarine that's been battling down the back, i'll have to start paying it more attention
