


and on the way home - amazing cloud formations and about ten drops of rain

the sky here
can be so dramatic
and there are
great expanses
of it over the
scrubby desert
landscape between
mildura and
wentworth -
bookended by
the lush green
of the irrigated
orchards and
vineyards, always
a good drive
i found this little fellow dead on the lawn yesterday morning, still warm and soft - tiny, the size of a mouse. i think mynas had killed him. a good opportunity for a close up look and lots of photos, who knows when i'll need to use a bat in an illustration
