WORKSHOP DAY

I DID STAY IN BED this morning and rest - really needed it after two manic days of travel.  then off (without breakfast) to my first workshop at 10.  all kids, mostly little from prep to grade 4  with a couple of older ones. they were great, lots of wonderful drawings.

jasmine was also my helper in holding up the
concertina dummy book

coming out of the class i noticed the cafe in the town hall - a beautiful old wood panelled tudor style interior, very warm and intimate.  another part of a truly impressive building
even a gorgeous floor

i wandered around and came to a doorway into this theatre - asked if i could go in and take photos - it was packed.  the Wiggles were about to arrive!
excited fans coming in

the building from outside in King George Square which was buzzing with activity

now that's what i call a bannister - wide and cool and smooth, gorgeous

just as the town hall was closing, they locked these doors but i could see through to the 'thousand stars' installation  - google it

a beautiful frou frou of a wedding dress in an
old and equally beautiful arcade near the hilton

the gorgeous barman who mixed me a perfect martini at the end of the day - in the hilton.   on the left the barman who showed me the endless array of gins, i chose Dingles, never had an irish gin before.  and the guy on the right made it.  perfection.  i feel ashamed now that i didn't get their names.
