we had so many bits and pieces - ply wood cut into shapes with power tools with scraped and sculpted surfaces, perspex plates, lino cuts, some etched in caustic.
We had a wide range of power tools and hand tools to use, and dianne's husband came with her for a couple of days to help. she's staying on for a residency with another artist brigitte. i'm inviting them out soon for dinner.

i puddled around
with my papers dyed
with eucalyptus, did an image on a piece of dyed blanket, made my first linocuts, but generally just picked up on great tips about tearing paper, looking after the press and trying things out
