MY WEEKEND airbnber had perfect weather on saturday for the big rowathon on the murray/darling. 24deg, no wind and sunny blue skies. he rowed 40 kms and had very sore hands on his return. a nice young man. i spent the afternoon sculpting at steve's - my second full afternoon of finding a life a life size head in a block of mt. gambier stone, a lot of sawing and this week, chiselling and tapping away. very meditative and i'm making progress. |
