YESTERDAY WAS 21, just gorgeous, sunny warm and still. i did some gardening in the morning and had friends call in for a champers on the riverbank in the afternoon. Our Makers group had a meeting in the evening by the fire at the Sturt hotel then dinner at Ann and Steve's by their new wood fire, very cosy and warm :0)
TODAY i got up extra early to drive to Nangiloc, out on the
Calder past Red Cliffs to the lovely little school, two teachers and fifteen kids on a grassy piece of land close to the Murray.
We had fresh scones and jam and cream for morning tea, story reading and lots of drawing, i was taken out to meet the chooks and the older kids were baking quiches as i left. thanks principal Claire for a lovely visit :0)
