LAKE HAWTHORNE

ON THE WAY HOME from Mildura, (getting last minute things for hanging the show) the lake is disappearing by the day, just drying up

Back at the lock it's looking much better, the two swans that live there have recently brought their three cygnets over from wherever they've been rearing them,  beautiful birds Back at the lock it's looking much better, the two swans that live there have recently brought their three cygnets over from wherever they've been rearing them,  beautiful birds

I HEADED DOWN to artback at 2.30 and Anne and I got the show up on the walls by 5.30.

Steve helped out with the high work, adding cables to the tracking system with his special stick, the ceiling must be 12'6'' and steve was balancing on the ladder with one knee on top of the door, a molly meldrum moment just waiting to happen!

anne needed to borrow extra cables from the visitors' centre and she found this wonderful photo of a camel train coming through wentworth. it's about 2.5m  wide mounted on board so we've borrowed it for the show

everything looks good, i'm happy
