I'M THRILLED with the arrival of this book - a book mum had and that i just pored over for years when i was young. it was lost and i've searched for it all that time. finally, i have it - a perfect copy, 1953 complete with dust cover that mum's had lost.
i so vividly remembered each black and white plate as i leafed through it. and the service from the bookseller was wonderful, Blue Sky Lane in the USA, it arrived wrapped in tissue with a bow and personal note from denise, with whom i've had email conversations about this book. and a separate notecard to use as a bookmark. Eight days delivery - pretty good i think
