brrr brrr brrr STILL

BOY it's been icy, my woodpile is seriously low.  good old steele, my lawnmower man came and chainsawed a lot of big fallen wood on my land, he went through three chains and hasn't been back to finish, i hope the chainsaw is still working 😧
i have an unpleasant visitor out the back, a feral cat in a cage that's been there all weekend. i forgot to close the flap so i've caught it when the ranger isn't working.  it has a blanket over the cage and has dined on sardines for two days.   the vet says it'll be fine - going out to check now before i ring the vet.   good to watch all the little wrens and yellow parrots out in the garden knowing they're safe - for now.
not many photos, it's been so cold i've done indoor stuff including making a heavy curtain to keep the warm in the living room.  today - moving furniture and putting up the curtain rail.

friend graeme and his fiance tuleh - she's turkish and they're
on holiday in istanbul.  great to see his photos of so many familiar
places.   and great to hear today that Erdogan has lost power in
istanbul, maybe turkey will regain some of its secular nature.
i hope there's no trouble, graeme says there's very visible security
everywhere, soldiers, weapons standing guard
