BOY the weather is crazy, first days of october and it's going to be low 30's all week, phew.
my irises are just starting to come out - not sure what colours are there but these are just gorgeous
i'm using my new J tool today to cut copper plates by hand, labour intensive, hard on the arm but it works! i called dianne craig (jewellery maker) for advice and she ended up coming around to try it and showed me a great way to etch copper using a battery and salt water - wow, unexpected.

| the lemon and lime trees are looking great, both were struggling but an application of citrus food and voila, after 3 weeks away they're thriving |
