GETTING THERE

COVER ART  has gone off in the mail - it feels very fragile and unstable, i'm really hoping it arrives ok, what a horrible feeling :0{

MORE PAINTING, maybe two more days to go then it's
time to attack the
pile of rubbish and
sort the furniture
to go back into
the studio and
what to throw out.

and all the
builder's rubble
to get rid of

AH, the gorgeous full moon is back in the middle of the lock

SUNNY IS HERE :0)

UP'N'AT EM and into the studio with the roller by 7.30 for a couple of hours painting, then picked up sunny at the airport.  we've had a lovely day, it's sunny and warm, blue skies and gorgeous autumn colour everywhere. we had an easy lunch at the sunraysia wine outlet, don't know what it's called but it has a great range of all the local wines, all available for tasting and we took a glass outside in the sun with a cheese platter.  a bit of op shopping and home to light fires on the riverbank and cook a barbie tea.  :0)  as i said, a lovely day.

the view of sunup, so nice to experience the day through windows on both sides

A WEEKEND of mother daughter time, i imagine some op shopping this morning on the way back from the airport, some painting of walls, a fire on the riverbank, and plenty of downtime. looks like perfect weather too :0)

PAINTING - YAY!!!

UP THE LADDER
that's where i'm happy - and sue has lent me this great scaffold, super wide and with rails - can't step back into space :0)   i've chosen a soft white - almost a very pale warm neutral grey.  it's going to be just right :0)

Last night i was aware that the sensor light had come on outside my bedroom - and yes, there was a prowler, a tall handsome muscular one :0)  my frequent visitor, don't see him here very often but he's obviously here every night, plenty of evidence on the lawn :0)
he's always alone which is unusual.  he's adult and strong, i don't know why he doesn't have a group with him

at 4.30 am he was round the front,  five hours of feeding!

MORE BIRDS

AT HELEN'S BIRDBATH

AT HELEN'S

GREAT TO SEE HELEN LOOKING SO WELL :0)

A MORNING AT LAKE LONSDALE
I couldn't believe the abundance of birdlife on the lake. i went down with sketchbook and watercolours but didn't get much done before rene rang from osaka.  while i sat and talked i had my camera in one hand and just shot heaps of pics.  there were pelicans and a feeding frenzy of spoonbills, black swans, ducks, dotterils, crows, parrots, it was just so beautiful sitting there
