AT MY LAST POST my knee was improving then it took a dive again but over the past few days it's getting better again (i say tentatively). it's amazing how one small part of the body can affect everything else, so limiting in what i can do, spending lots of time with my knee up with ice etc feeling like my life is slipping away.
on the bright side i've still been swimming most mornings. I got some really good swimming tip from two of the Salties this morning, things i just didn't know. Not to kick - it keeps the body high in the water. breathing out through the nose, longer slower strokes. it feels different so i'll be practising all those things. it was a beautiful morning.

the drive home from st leonards - salt lagoon
Thursday was hot - I drove over to queenscliff and had a swim and fish and chips with a mystery friend

on friday we had a group jump of the St Leonards pier, lots of people - maybe thirty. we jumped in groups of two to four - a joyous event watched by bemused fishermen at sunrise
and i've been completely obsessed with getting everything for the bathroom, the taps, and two batches of tiles arrive monday, all the tapware is due by courier next week too. vanity is ordered and all i have to choose now is a light fitting - NOT downlights despite trent's enthusiasm for them. i dislike everything about them, the direction of light, how it lands and the trickiness of changing the globes which in the past have exploded unexpectedly for no reason - hate 'em
