I'M FULLY VAXXED!!

Hallelujah!  i got my second shot yesterday and am off to melbourne in the morning!!  a week of visiting.  today my arm is really sore so i hope it's better tomorrow.  i bought this tshirt as soon as i saw it in the Good Weekend magazine and have been impatiently waiting every since!

I celebrated with champagne (a bit too much) and
bought live mussels to make my favorite chilli
tomato fettucine :0)

IT'S BEEN SO LONG!!!

ARM STILL IN SLING, WIFI FINALLY RESTORED - i'm now on NBN satellite, so hopefully with new macbook and wifi i'll be back to normal communications and blogging.

This is really just my diary - good to look back over the years and see what i was doing.   i guess it's the modern equivalent of a photo album with captions.

I've been knitting

madly, with my arm

in the sling

all the time,

things are slow.

i'm trying to get exercise but motivation is tricky.  it's been three weeks since i blogged, now i'll be back to weekly.  i notice on FB my posts are nearly all nature, sunrises and sunsets, the moon, the birds, the landscape.   it's part lockdown and part physical limitations.   lucky i can still take photos.

internet shopping -

oh dear, way too much but

always a treat to get a

message from the p.o.

that a package has

arrived

Di and I visited the Harbinger exhibition, with work by Di Fogwell and Nicola Dickson.  i loved the way di's large works were unattached at the bottom so the air flow in the gallery created soft shadows on the wall

Below - a grab bag of pics from the last few weeks, i'm having trouble editing this page, it's misbehaving so i'll start a new post, it's oct 31

creepy corellas, they sit silently and stare down at me.

hippeastrums are out, wildly vivid and wonderful under the claret ash

LAST WEEK i spent a overnighter with di, sam and daughter kate at their weekend property on the Murray near Lock 8.  It was great to be out on the open road and to spend time away.   beautiful in the evening to have a cool wine with a view of the river at sundown.  we also drove down to Lake Victoria,  it's a terrific landscape down there

my four leaf clover
plant, potted and
brought up here by
ann james, who has
a penchant for
four leaf clovers,
there are always one or
two on it.

Beautiful cliveas from sue and derek's garden
